AWESOME NEWS!!!
After 2 plus years of interviews, somebody finally made me a job offer! It's Vincennes University, in a dinky little Indiana town about an hour north of Evansville, right on the Illinois border - about a 5 hour drive from where I live right now. I am so incredibly happy! Those Hoosiers rock!

So it looks like I'll be moving to Indiana in August! OMG so excited!! I'm so happy I'm abusing the exclamation mark!!!

Go Indiana! Down here in the ingnorance/selfish state of Florida, and the passing by the aformentioned group of folks, of Amendent 1, an attempt to lower property tax, we are fireing our teachers at all strata of the education levels, and cutting gross amounts of electives and services for students! My county is slashing 20 plus million from education! I am glad you found work. Good luck!

Thanks! Indiana is actually one of the best states for higher education. I should have tried them earlier.

Wow. Florida is insane. And, apparently, getting dumber rapidly.
